We are extremely sad to announce the passing of Hoof Prints. Born into the wild in 1981, Prints was captured as a youngster and spent his life dabbling in just about every discipline imaginable. From racing trains to eventing, gymkhana to pony club, there was nothing he didn't excel in. Prints lived his final days as fully as his first, and showed no signs of slowing down; however, an unexpected and severe case of colic struck on the morning of November 29th, and it was decided that he should be put down. |

Chase Creek Eventing and Tosca Holmes-Smith are super excited to be partnering with Praise Hemp Supplements. We're very happy to be working with a company based in British Columbia. We started using the Praise supplements on our 5 week trip to California this spring and all of our horses travelled well, competed beautifully and maintained their condition on a long trip away from home. Not to mention what the hemp oil did for their coats! We're really looking forward to continuing to use this product on our horses at home. |

So proud of Tosca to be named the Equestrian Canada Junior Equestrian of the Year - the Gillian Wilson Trophy. Had lots of fun at the awards reception. We sat in on the Developing Canada's Youth Presentation and Athlete Panel. Great to hear from April Simmonds and Annick Niemuller - both incredibly well spoken. We are very sad to announce the passing of Paddington. Paddy was a 14.3 hand Welsh x Quarter horse born in 1995 and purchased by Nick and Ali in 2001. He competed up to the CCI** level with Ali and then went on to take both Carmen and Tosca around their first FEI CCI* events. His last competition was with Tosca at the 2015 North American Young Riders Championships at the Kentucky Horse Park. He was undoubtedly one of a kind and a true competitor who will be missed by many.
